We're looking for some new team members to join our award winning team!

ASSISTANT MANAGER

We are looking for an assistant manager to join our team with at least two years experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant environment. If you are a part time student please apply for a separate waiting staff role. We have a friendly team and there is a great relationship between the kitchen and FOH.

  • Full time approximately 40 hours per week.

  • Competitive rates of pay - will be discussed at interview

  • You must be friendly and articulate, have a smart appearance and be a strong team manager and team player.

  • You will need experience of cashing up, ordering and wet stock monitoring.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and licensing regulations is essential.

  • NVQ qualifications or a personal licence would be an advantage, but not essential. We are very happy to support further training.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Take pride in what they do and genuinely care.

  • Lead by example, be proactive and always busy at work.

  • Be competent behind the bar with have experience in cellar management.

  • Have an interest in food and wine knowledge.

  • Be able to adhere to company standards and procedures.

CHEF DE PARTIE: 

We are looking for an experienced chef to join our busy and exciting kitchen. This role is with the intention to be promoted to a Sous Chef within 6 months. Work experience necessary would be 5 year minimum in a similar establishment. Candidates ideally will be proficient in pastry preparation and execution, food preparation using high quality ingredients, stock rotation and food storage. A passion for food and innovation would be welcome.

  • Food hygiene level 1 and 2 desired but not essential.

  • Must be self disciplined, a team player and prepared to work in a professional but fun environment.

  • Education desired would be a catering accolade.

  • NVQ 2 level in Hospitality. A diploma in Professional Food and Beverage Service would be preferred but not essential.

  • Core subjects of English, Maths and Science at graduation level age 18 would be ideal.

  • Must have a full driving licence or transport to and from work.

  • Salary: Up to £27,000.00 per year. Will be discussed at interview and based on experience.

  • Must be 18 or over.

  • Experience essential. 

FRONT OF HOUSE/WAITING STAFF

We're a friendly pub which prides itself on great service so the candidate must have good customer service skills and be a keen team player. 

  • Experience in retail or bar work essential.

  • Role includes bar and table service.

  • Flexible hours are available. Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

  • Salary: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

KITCHEN ASSISTANT/PORTER:

Our kitchen porters are vital to our kitchen running smoothly.

  • Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.

  • Collect and wash up pots and pans thoroughly.

  • Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.

  • Unload food and equipment deliveries.

  • Keep the storeroom organised.

  • Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised

  • Carry out basic food preparation.

  • Documentation and recording of food preparation and storage.

  • Full-time, Part-time, Temporary. Up to 30 hours available.

  • Salary: £9.30-£10.00 per hour

  • Must be 16 or over.

  • Experience preferred but not essential.
