THE STORY OF OUR SHOP
As soon as lockdown 1 was announced we closed our restaurant and turned it into a community store selling a wide range of items including fresh meat, fruit, veg, bread, confectionery (and toilet paper of course)! We also set up a grocery collection and delivery service for locals and offered our pub and restaurant menu as takeaway.
The support we had from our local community was incredible. We were so pleased to be able to offer a safe environment for customers to shop in - we limit the number of shoppers to two at a time and ask all shoppers to wash their hands on entry. Face masks are now mandatory for entry.
As the weeks went on we adapted the store to offer take away coffee and cakes which are made locally.
